Konad Stamping Sets
(Konad Double Side Stamp Set)
To get started making designs on your nails, you’ll need a stamper set(stamper and scraper), stamping plates and nail polishes(that you can use for stamping). All these products are sold separately and in sets as well. I recommend buying it separately, you get exactly what you want and it seems just cheaper to buy that way to me.
The Konad stamper sets ranges from $3-5 dollars, which is just crazy cheap. I got mine at Amazon.com but you can get it in most drugstores…as it’s becoming more and more popular. Although, I haven’t seen it in Wal-mart just yet.
(Konad Stamping Nail Art Set)
This is another Konad Stamper Set. The only difference this one has with the Konad Double Side Stamp Set is that it has just one side to stamp with and a shorter handle. On the double sided one, the green side is much smaller which is a nice option to have for smaller nails like children’s nails.
Konad Stamping Plates
You do need stamping plates to make your designs! They come in these little round mirror plates with very small designs to fit on your nail. The Konad Stamping Plates cost around $2- $6 dollars each. There are other brands that are sold in sets that are more affordable. It just comes down to the design you want and the price you want to pay for them. I tried out another brand called Red Angel Stamping Plates, which I’ll review in another post.
Here are two Konad Stamping Plates that I really liked and I paid full price for them. They do go on sale once in a while and once they are not as popular, they go down in price on Amazon.com.

Konad Special Polish
The Konad Special Polish cost around $5-$6 dollars for the regular size and around $2-3 dollars for the mini size. A word about the polish…You DO NOT need to use this specific polish for it to work. I’ve used cheaper brands and they work just as well. You just have to try and see what works and what doesn’t.
I suggest to try to use what you have already. I’ve found that the cheapest of polishes like Wet’n’Wild Wild Shines polish work. Just remember, polishes that are opaque or have a higher color pigmentation works best. Sheers and lighter polish colors will not work at all or as well.
I did try these Konad Special Stamping polish….
(Konad Special Nail Polish in White-regular size .42 FL. OZ. 11ML)
(Konad Stamping Special Nail Polish in Gold and Silver -mini size 0.175 FL. OZ. 5 ML)
If you do want to give the Konad Special Polishes a try…go for the smaller bottles first like these.
